Dizzy Joghurt – Maria
MARIA( ’98)
my mother smiled who looks at
a pansy blooming quietly in a garden
because she has space in a heart
and my mother tells us
“be the woman with a smile”
What may happen, she shall never give up
her funny joke set us all laughing
it seem as if she knows reality and an ideal
may be already
she know that all is not equality
my father seems to be a telephone pole formed by concrete
become timid by not beeing free
he is going to give up what walk in his foot
he tells her of a memory
but his tongue does not become satisfactory
her funny joke set him all laughing
it seem as if she knows reality and an ideal
may be already
she knows that all is not equality
mother smiles like Maria
and she is sure that choice is not failure
mother does not seek for a reward and love us
I want to grow like her
my mother smiled who looks at
a pansy blooming quietly in a garden
because she has space in a heart
and my mother tells us
“be the woman with a smile”
What may happen, she shall never give up
her funny joke set us all laughing
it seem as if she knows reality and an ideal
may be already
she know that all is not equality
mother smiles like Maria
and she is sure that choice is not failure
mother does not seek for a reward and love us
I want to grow like her
mother smiles like Maria
and our tears will dry in her smile
mother does not seek for a reward and love us
I want to grow like her
